These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the CarInterval mobile application (the “App”) and this website, provided by Dzianis Kuziomkin, an individual developer (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the App or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services. Our Data Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
1. Purpose of CarInterval
CarInterval helps you organize vehicle maintenance, reminders, and service history. Vehicle and maintenance information is provided for informational and organizational purposes. It does not replace manufacturer documentation, professional mechanical advice, vehicle inspections, or certified service recommendations.
The vehicle, mileage, and service entries displayed on this website are illustrative previews. They are not live readings from your vehicle and do not create a maintenance record or account.
2. Maintenance Information and Reminders
You are responsible for checking maintenance intervals, fluid requirements, specifications, and parts compatibility against the documentation for your exact vehicle and driving conditions before performing work or purchasing parts.
We do not guarantee that information is error-free, complete, or suitable for every vehicle configuration. Reminder timing can be affected by the information you enter, device settings, notification permissions, operating-system restrictions, and connectivity. Do not rely solely on a notification to determine when safety-related maintenance is needed.
Keep an independent copy of important service records. Backup and restoration depend on service availability and the identity retained on your device; restoration after reinstalling or changing devices is not guaranteed.
3. Access and Device Identity
The current App establishes an anonymous service session rather than requiring an email account for basic use. That session associates supported backend requests and vehicle backups with your device’s app identity. “Anonymous” does not mean that technical information or records cannot be linked to that identity.
You are responsible for securing your device and for the accuracy of information you enter. Do not enter another person’s personal information without an appropriate basis to do so.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
This website does not process payments or sell subscriptions. If paid features or subscriptions are offered through an app store, the applicable price, billing period, renewal conditions, and cancellation options will be presented before purchase. Payments and subscription management are handled by the relevant store under its terms.
No price, subscription entitlement, or free-feature guarantee is created by the example interface on this website. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory cancellation, refund, or consumer rights.
5. Intellectual Property
The App and website software, design, text, logos, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Dzianis Kuziomkin and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and licenses.
You may use the services for their intended purposes. You may not copy, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer protected materials without permission, except where applicable law or a relevant license permits it. You retain your rights in maintenance notes and other content you provide.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the services for unlawful purposes or submit unlawful content.
- Attempt to bypass security controls or access another user’s records.
- Interfere with the services, abuse backend requests, or introduce malicious code.
- Misrepresent the website’s example readings as verified vehicle information.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, delivery of every reminder, or recovery of every stored record.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the services, including losses caused by incorrect data entry, missed notifications, or reliance on information without checking your vehicle’s requirements.
These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer rights.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or suspend access where necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or a violation of these Terms. You may stop using the services at any time. Requests concerning deletion of data are described in the Data Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the services change. The current version and update date will be available on this page. Where applicable law requires additional notice or agreement for a change, we will follow those requirements.
10. Applicable Law
These Terms apply subject to applicable law. Nothing in them removes protections or rights you have under mandatory laws in your country of residence.
